Experience

Hal Agron is an experienced trial lawyer.  After completing law school, Mr. Agron went to work for the Montgomery County Attorney’s Office as a Chief Criminal Prosecutor.  Through this work, Mr. Agron gained invaluable trial experience.  He then became the Chief Civil Litigator responsible for defending Montgomery County, Texas and all its various officials and departments in federal and state courts.  Since leaving the Montgomery County Attorney’s Office, Mr. Agron has built a lengthy and distinguished career representing entities and individuals when they have been sued.

Mr. Agron has extensive experience representing both large and small companies, as well as individuals, when sued in areas such as premises liability, products liability, auto/trucking liability, and civil rights litigation. He also possesses a unique perspective when representing an insurance carrier or a carrier’s insured as he has spent more than 14 years serving as in-house counsel at such national insurance carriers as State Farm and The Hartford.

Over his career, Mr. Agron has tried more than 30 significant civil trials in which he represented companies, governmental entities, or individuals.  Mr. Agron’s federal and state court trial experience extends from San Antonio to Galveston and from East Texas down to South Texas.  This trial experience, along with his in-depth knowledge of insurance law issues and claims handling practices, make him particularly well suited to handle both first-party and third-party litigation.
